Emma Roberts Gets Totally Real In Her Unretouched Aerie Campaign Pics

The actress stars in the brand's gorgeous fall campaign -- with no Photoshopping allowed.

Last year, American Eagle’s lingerie and loungewear offshoot, Aerie, made headlines when it announced its Aerie Real campaign, promising to ditch Photoshop and instead feature models of all shapes and sizes — with no retouching allowed.

Now, Aerie Real has upped the ante by recruiting its first celebrity model. And lest you think any young starlet would be too self-conscious to strip down for an au natural photoshoot, let the beautiful Emma Roberts prove otherwise.

The “Scream Queens” actress stars in the brand’s fall campaign, in which she poses for a series of stunning shots, leaving any blemishes, wrinkles or under-eye circles in tact and unedited.

On Monday afternoon (Aug. 24), Emma proudly shared a pair of photos from the campaign, writing that she’s “so excited” to be the brand’s (completely natural) face: “Remember REAL is sexy. REAL is cool !!”

In a recent interview with Refinery 29, the 24-year-old continued to promote body positivity by sharing what being “real” means to her.

"Often, when we hear the word 'real,' we automatically think flaws, but it just means being yourself, realizing you're beautiful the way you are, and not taking it all too seriously,” she said. “Like on Instagram, I love posting pics of myself looking silly and laughing — it doesn't always have to be a sexy selfie.

“I want to promote the idea that it's okay to look like yourself,” she continued. “You don't have to Photoshop your Instagrams!"
