Beyoncé Could Have The Biggest Night In VMA History

So many Moonmen.

Beyoncé is already a queen, but soon, she could be the queen of the Video Music Awards.

With five VMA nominations, including Video of the Year for "7/11," Beyoncé has the chance to become the artist with the most Moonmen...of all time.

Madonna, who has 20 Moonmen, currently holds the title. Counting her two wins with Destiny's Child, Beyoncé currently has 17 awards. This is a really big deal, since Madonna has held this title since 1999.

Bey has worked hard for this moment, as she's been collecting Moonmen since 2000 with her ladies of DC. Let's take a look back at Beyoncé's VMA history as we gear up to celebrate what could be another memorable night for the queen.

2014: 4 Awards

Beyoncé killed it at the 2014 VMAs, performing a 15-minute medley before accepting her much deserved Video Vanguard Award, which was given to her by her husband Jay Z and adorable daughter, Blue. She also collected hardware for "Pretty Hurts," which won for Best Video with a Message and Best Cinematography, and "Drunk in Love" which bested the competition in the Best Collaboration category.

2012: 1 Award

Beyoncé was a little busy this year having only a few months back given birth to Blue, so she didn't attend the awards in 2012, but she still came away a winner. Her video for "Countdown" won for Best Editing.

2011: 1 Award

It was Beyoncé's night when she won three awards for the iconic "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" video. What made the night even more memorable was that after she won Best Choreography and Best Editing, she gave Taylor Swift the spotlight to re-do her acceptance speech after she was interrupted by Kanye West, while taking the top prize, Video Of The Year.

Beyoncé proved two things that night: One, that it's totally possible to dance in a trench coat, which she did during her performance of "Ring The Alarm." Two, you can look fierce AF while accepting an award, more notably the Best R&B video award for "Check On It." Who am I kidding? She's looked fierce AF from day one.

2004: 1 Award

Beyoncé may have won the award for Best Female Video for "Naughty Girl" and made her relationship with Jay Z award show official, but all I want to talk about is that curl-tastic hair! Work, it!
