Greer Grammer knows a thing or two about navigating those high school hallways as cheer captain Lissa Miller -- and now the "Awkward" actress is taking on the iconic role of another small-screen student.

The 23-year-old -- who makes her MTV return on Monday, August 31 -- will lend her talents to the highly anticipated "The O.C" musical production, fittingly playing Rachel Bilson's character Summer Roberts. Thankfully, for all of us die-hard fans of the erstwhile Fox series, the MTV star shared a fun, behind-the-scenes glimpse from the first rehearsal for the upcoming one-night-only extravaganza. All together now: California, here we come!

"Princess Sparkle and I were prettyyyyy excited about today's first @theocmusical rehearsal #theocmusical #theoc #summerroberts #sethcohen," she added along with a copy of her script and Summer's trademark horse doll. But that wasn't the only sighting of our girl and the supporting (but integral) toy...

"The Captain and The Princess. #TheOCMusical #BTS #Rehearsal," the show's official Twitter account shared, along with a snap of the new brunette (!!) and her Seth Cohen, portrayed by Brendan Robinson. Oh, and of course, their loving, tiny mammals were enjoying a lip-lock.
