Nick Jonas was no match when it came to out-singing his fans at the kickoff of his Live In Concert tour in the Dominican Republic.

The "Chains" singer decided to give the crowd a little surprise when he bust out a performance of OMI's hit single, "Cheerleader." As soon as Nick started singing the first words, "I need motivation," the crowd overpowered the singer, with Nick backing away from the mic and letting the audience take over.

Nick did manage to sneak in a few words, but the crowd clearly loved the song so much that they sang every single lyric. Instead of singing along, Nick decided to grab a water bottle and tried to cool them down by spraying them with water.

The MTV VMA Best Male Video nominee didn't seem to mind the interaction, though, calling the concert one his "favorite shows" and saying that the crowd was "incredible."
