It's been an unbearably long summer without "Empire" in our lives. We've been recycling the same old Cookie-isms for months now, and frankly, September 23 cannot come soon enough.

The only positive thing that's come from this terrible "Empire" drought is the fact that we've been spending all of our time listening to the show's season 1 soundtrack on repeat, which means we're pretty much experts when it comes to "Empire" lyrics. And there's no song we love more than "Drip Drop," the seminal song from the first season. Say what you want about Hakeem and Tiana's first major collaboration, but you can't deny it's a goddamn catchy song.
