Taylor Swift Is Freaking Out Over Ryan Adams' '1989' Cover Album

And so are we. So are we.

Just when you thought 1989 fever MIGHT be abating, Ryan Adams goes and infects us all over again with its oh-so catching disease by covering the whole damn thing. I know. Taylor Swift is excited, too.

"Taylor Swift 1989 full album cover night 1. As played by the Smiths," Adams wrote on Instagram sometime Wednesday night/Thursday (August 6) morning, sharing a photo of a Swift-i-fied jam session. He followed this up with a clip of an almost Springsteen-ian version of "Welcome To New York" -- and a dude dancing in a helmet.

"Guaranteed saddest version of Welcome to New York ever -- or your tears back," Adams tweeted, while Taylor simultaneously lost her ish on Twitter.

Ryan wouldn't give her a second to chill, though, as he and his pals are apparently zooming through the rest of the hit record: "Just finished Style. Badass tunes, Taylor. : ) We're sandblasting them and they're holding steady," he tweeted. The guys also attacked "Blank Space" -- and took a pinball break or two.
