Meghan Trainor Says Ariana Grande Is Being ‘So So Careful’ About Dating

'I would be careful if there was anybody,' Meghan said.

Meghan Trainor is looking for a man.

And it shouldn't be too hard, since she's a "great kisser," according to "Marvin Gaye" collaborator Charlie Puth. Plus, she promises that if you and her break up, she won't write a song about you.

"I would be the best girlfriend; I wouldn't write any mean songs," Meghan told Sirius XM's "The Morning Mash Up." "I would be like, 'You are so nice, even on your mean days.' I'd be so nice to them."

The "All About That Bass" singers' potential new love would have to deal with that whole her being-one-of-the-biggest-pop-stars-in-the-world thing, which is something one "nice gentlemen" became privy to.

"This nice gentlemen took me out on a date and it was very fancy and I'm like, 'We don't have to do this; I hate everything on this menu.'... This one person was brave enough to come up and after that, they lined up," Meghan recalled. "And finally the owner of the restaurant came out and was like, 'We don't do pictures,' and I was like, 'Yes!' And I looked at [my date] and [went], 'So [this is] the future if this is what you want.'"

No word on if they went out on date number two, but if and when Meghan decides to settle down, she will no doubt remember the advice that fellow pop star, Ariana Grande, gave her about dating.

"Ariana told me 'I'm being so so careful,'" Meghan said of their conversation on relationships. "And I was like, 'I would be careful if there was anybody.'"
