UPDATE: Zayn Malik's rep has confirmed to US Weekly that the former 1D star and Perrie Edwards have ended their engagement.

Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards are now the latest celebrity couple to have called it quits.

According to People magazine, Zayn was the one to have called off the engagement two weeks ago, which, according to a source, has left the Little Mix star "devastated."

"She's been putting on a brave face as Little Mix have had promotion to do, but she's obviously devastated," the source told the magazine.

Zayn and Perrie have yet to comment on the end of their engagement.

The two confirmed their engagement nearly two years ago when Perrie accompanied Zayn to the premiere of One Direction's 3-D flick, “One Direction: This is Us,” showing off her massive rock.

Just last month, rumors started swirling that these two had actually tied the knot after Perrie referred to herself in a Little Mix Instagram video as “Perrie Malik.”

And just three weeks ago, Perrie posted this pic with the caption, "love ma man."

But just yesterday, her fellow bandmate, Jesy, who is newly engaged, posted this pic of Perrie and clearly she is not wearing her ring.

Perrie told us last year that the two hadn't made too many plans for their wedding as of yet, but she promised that the former One Direction member would be heavily involved, whether he liked it or not.

“Well, he tried to get out of it. He said, ’You know what? The wedding, it’s all about the lady.’ He went, ’Honestly, it’s your day. You’re the princess. You go all out and then just let me know what you want,'” Perrie revealed. “I went ’You’re not getting out of it that easy, love.’ I went, ’You’re planning it with us, thank you very much.’ He thought he was clever, but no, I’m one step ahead.”
