50 Cent And Ja Rule Aren't Done Talking About Drake And Meek Mill -- Or Each Other
The feud between Drake and Meek Mill has absorbed hip-hop fans in a way no beef has since perhaps 50 Cent and Ja Rule's early 2000s rift.
The whole thing sparked when the Meek accused Drake of having a ghostwriter, and has been escalating in the two weeks since, including during Drizzy's OVO Fest on Monday night.
Fif and Ja already weighed in on rap's latest headline-grabber last week, with Ja asking, "Which one supposed to be Ja Rule?" and 50 saying he didn't care if artists have had help writing: "If you gon’ penalize Drake, you gotta penalize everybody."
Now, they've got even more to say -- and it looks like it's reigniting past feelings they had for one another. But first, they each had an expanded take on Drake vs. Meek.
"If y'all wanna compare #meekvsdrake to 50vsRule I'm gonna need one of these n---as to get stabbed or shot!!!" Ja wrote on Twitter Monday night, before toning his take down a bit.
50, meanwhile, seems to think Drake has studied his past beefs, and is using similar tactics.
"Is that me," he wrote on Instagram. "nah I'm not light skinned. What the f--k is going on. Smh LMAO this guy been watching me close. 😳"
"All He did was put up the meme's ,trust me he got something just waiting," he added in the next post. "that back to back was just a verse. Meek gotta go hard or go home first Class. Drop something tonight f--k that."
And, of course, he offered some classic 50 trolling videos.
Then, Tuesday morning (Aug. 4), Fif decided to fire a verbal shot at Ja via Instagram. "Oh I herd what you said on the power 105 morning show, you f--king punk," he wrote. "Everybody know I put your ass to sleep. 😆"
It looks like Ja's most recent appearance on the station's morning show, "The Breakfast Club," came back in July 2014. Granted, he did address his beef with 50, but it seems a bit out of the blue for a response to come now.
This could, of course, just be 50 being 50.
