The Story Of Harry Styles’ First Concert Will Make You Smile

It involves love, of course, and Myspace.

Despite being an international superstar, Harry Styles isn't a hard guy to figure out. He likes getting inked up and letting his locks grow long and publicly shaming dudes who steal his girlfriend -- and he definitely does not like SeaWorld.

Because he's a human with functioning feels, Harry also likes The Rocket Summer. And he likes them for a very specific reason: Myspace.

At last week's Alternative Press Music Awards in Cleveland, Ohio, The Rocket Summer's Bryce Avary told MTV News about a chance encounter he had with Harry recently that found the One Direction singer remembering back to the glory days of the social-networking site -- an era that includes the first show he ever attended.

"I went and got sushi in L.A. like a few months ago... and Harry Styles came up to me and said, 'You're the very first concert I ever went to.' And he said the way he found out was that he was into this girl, and her Myspace song was 'Break It Out,' and he really got into that song, and so now we're friends and we're, like, working together, or we're gonna work together at some point."

Let's roll this back, shall we?

So, Harry dug into The Rocket Summer because a girl liked them, and then he went to see them for his FIRST CONCERT EVER, and now he's pals with Avary, and they're planning on maybe making music together soon. Now imagine that potential 1D/Rocket Summer collab -- a tune so hooky it could develop its own gravitational pull via the power of its shout-along chorus.

All because of Myspace. Think about it.
