Amanda Bynes has had her share of mental health scares and legal troubles in the past few years, but at a recent fashion event in L.A., she showed up looking well and smiling for the cameras.

The 29-year-old actress appeared at Michael Costello and Style PR's capsule collection launch on Thursday (July 23) wearing a white, long-sleeved crocheted dress with black heels and sunglasses.

Known for her roles on the Nickelodeon shows “All That” and “The Amanda Show,” Bynes has been taking a break from acting since 2010. In 2012, she said she wanted to start a new career as a fashion designer.

At the fashion launch this week, Bynes looked happy and healthy, reportedly waving to fans and even fawning over TV host Diana Madison’s baby bump, according to Us Weekly.

Could an Amanda comeback be underway? Hopefully this isn’t the last we see of the star this year.
