Dr. Dre Is About To Premiere His Own Beats 1 Radio Show

The CEO of Beats Electronics will join the growing list of Apple Music DJs.

Apple Music's Beats 1 Radio has slowly been rolling out its roster of all-star DJs, and now Dr. Dre himself is set to join the mix. The rapper and CEO of Beats Electronics will debut his new radio program "The Pharmacy" today (July 4).

"The Pharmacy" premieres this afternoon at 3 p.m. PST (6 p.m. EST). According to a press release, the one-hour show is aimed at "bringing the West Coast to the world," and will feature guests like Eddie Francis, DJ Pooh, and Wyann Vaughn. After today, it'll air every other Saturday.

Beats 1 Radio launched on Tuesday (June 30) and has featured exclusive radio programs from Zane Lowe, who premiered Pharrell's new song "Freedom" on-air, Drake, Disclosure and St. Vincent, among others. Now, the man behind Beats itself will join in on the fun.
