Today (June 26) is an historic day. But while the entire nation is celebrating marriage equality in all 50 states, there's one celeb who's particularly jazzed, and that's Miley Cyrus.

Over the past few years, Cyrus has become a major ally within the LGBTQA community, and a staunch supporter of marriage equality. Now, she's got plenty to celebrate! And she wanted her fans to know, which is why she posted this touching video to Instagram.

"June is pride month, and there are plenty of reasons to be proud," explained Miley, who looked super chic and happy in an embellished black outfit and cropped 'do. "Visibility is at an all-time high, and we have finally achieved nationwide marriage equality!

"F--K YEAH!" she concluded, sealing the video message with an enthusiastic kiss.

"F--k yeah #marriageequality ❤️❤️ #instapride @happyhippiefdn," she captioned.

Earlier today, Miley posted this thumbs up selfie, writing, "What a great f--king day! Thank you America for not cutting my chances of finding true love forever and ever by 50%."

In May, Cyrus launched her Happy Hippie Foundation, an effort to “rally young people to fight injustice facing homeless youth, LGBT youth and other vulnerable populations.”
