Terrorism Suspected In Explosion And Beheading At Factory In Grenoble, France

Plus, Chris Christie readies an announcement for a presidential run, and the Supreme Court is expected to rule on same-sex marriage.

The Head Was Found With Writing On It

One person was found decapitated and others were injured after an explosion at a U.S.-owned gas factory in France on Friday morning (Jun. 30). The severed head was reportedly pinned to the gates of the factory and was found covered with Arabic writing, while banners with Arabic inscriptions were discovered near the body. French authorities have opened a terrorism investigation, while their president, Francois Hollande, has already called it a "terrorist" attack. One suspect has been arrested.

And Another One...

The field of Republican presidential hopefuls just keeps on ballooning. Earlier this week, Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal threw his hat in the race, and next Tuesday, Jun. 30, New Jersey governor Chris Christie is expected to officially announce his campaign. The 52-year-old, who assumed office in 2010, is expected to make the announcement at his alma mater, Livingston High School.

Despite the multiple reports about the announcement, Christie continued to deny that his plans are set. "There's been absolutely no final decision made by me," he said on his monthly radio show Thursday night. "I haven't made a decision. Let's everybody remain calm." If he does in fact announce, he will be joining over a dozen other candidates, including Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio and Rand Paul.

Major Supreme Court Decisions Expected

The Supreme Court could make a ruling Friday on two major cases, including whether same-sex couples have the right to marry. In addition, the court has three other cases on which they'll rule between today and Monday, including those surrounding questions of capital punishment, clean air and elections.
