Even Sway Calloway called it "the best freestyle of the year" on social media. So, how dope was it? Let's take a look at the tape:
Los Freestyled As Sway Gave Him Random Topics
King basically started pulling words out of thin air each time Sway gave him a topic to rap about. He went from Catholicism to camouflage to idiosyncrasies without missing a beat.
He Rapped Over Classic Beats
Los kept everyone's head nodding throughout the freestyle with a hypnotic flow over some legendary beats. He rhymed over classics like Nas' "It Ain't Hard To Tell," Tupac's "Ambitionz Az A Ridah," and The Notorious B.I.G.'s "Warning."
Los Ended The Freestyle With A Bang
It's all about how you finish and Los ended his freestyle with a bang, by making a strong declaration. "We did it for Sway, man / I think it's okay, man," he rhymed. "I think it's really, really safe to say, man / Best rapper alive. Don't even play, man."
Here's The Full Freestyle
Okay, so maybe it's too early to call it the best freestyle of 2015. But do you think it's the most impressive one so far? Let us know in the comments.
Nevertheless, Los didn't just drop a fire-filled freestyle today. He also released his God, Money, War project, which you can listen to below.
