This Latin Heartthrob Is Opening For Ariana Grande -- And We Couldn't Be More Excited

Get to know Prince Royce.

If you speak Spanish, you most likely know who Prince Royce is, but if the dreamy Latin pop hitmaker isn't a familiar face to you, I'm here to fix that. Royce is known for romantic songs (kinda like Ed Sheeran is) but he adds a hint of swag (can we still use that word?) and latin rhythm to them. With his first English album release set for a July 24 release, I'm predicting he may be responsible for some of your sweetest summer jams. Consider this a formal introduction to the prince of bachata.

He's a Bronx, New York native

That's right, while he sings mostly in Spanish and is a huge hit in practically every Spanish-speaking country, he was born and raised to Dominican parents in New York City.

He's working with the best of the best

For his upcoming album, Double Vision, Prince Royce is working with song writers and producers who've worked with Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande, Chris Brown, Beyonce, Jason Derulo and many more.

Snoop Dogg featured on his first English single, "Stuck on a Feeling"

You may have heard this song on the radio not that long ago. It peaked at #43 on the Billboard's Hot 100 and #16 on the Mainstream Top 40 chart, and was definitely stuck in our heads.

His songs are as sweet as his taste in dessert

JLo, Ricky, Shakira

Remember Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez and Shakira? All of those artists had made complete transitions from the Spanish-speaking market into the American music industry and while many Latino singers have had songs in English, it's been a while since we've seen any Latin artists produce albums solely in English like Prince Royce.

"Darte un Beso" has 555,954,885 views on Vevo

His single release from his third album, Soy el Mismo (I am the Same), isn't his only video with well over 1 million views. All of his videos boast impressive view counts.

He's all about his workouts

With that glowing tan skin, chiseled physique and perfectly teased hair, it's no wonder Prince Royce made this list.

Ari obviously extended her Honeymoon Tour until the fall so she could add one special guest: Prince Royce.

He sings along to his own songs

We can tell he also likes very nice cars. That's riding in style.

He has three albums in Spanish that have done really well.

His first album, 2010's Prince Royce, went platinum while his second album, Phase II, was certified double platinum after only 6 months of release. His third record, Soy el Mismo, had a string of hit singles, including "Darte un Beso."

He appreciates a good game of golf.

You can catch him as a judge on Telemundo's version of "The Voice" -- kids edition.

In 2013, Prince Royce joined a panel of some of the biggest artists in South America for a Latino version of "La Voz."

"Back it Up," featuring Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull, is a hot summer jam right now

With its dancehall and latin infusion, it's hard not to dance along to this song.

You can listen to him in Portuguese, too.

Even though he didn't speak Portuguese at the time, Prince Royce re-recorded his big hit "Darte un Beso" in Brazilian Portuguese ("Te Dar um Beijo") with Brazilian sensation Michel Teló. Of course, this song became a huge hit, again, this time in Brazil.

He puts on a show "no matter what".

Prince Royce is definitely energetic on tage, all while being super swoon-worthy.
