13 Times Cara Delevingne Proved She Can Turn Casual Into Couture
Before she started showing off her acting chops -- and became the next John Green book-based heartbreaker in "Paper Towns" -- Cara Delevingne was a quite successful runway model. Meaning, she's a double threat and probably knows a thing or two about highfalutin fashion.
Which makes what she wore to today (June 15) even cooler than it already is.
Delevingne joined Green and her co-star Nat Wolff for a photocall in Madrid, Spain to support the Jake Schreier-directed teen mystery-romance, in which she portrays Margo Roth Spiegelman, a girl who disappeared and built a big mystery for her adorking neighbor Q (Nat Wolff) to drag all his pals along to try and figure out. And she opted out of any dresses or up-'dos and went straight for this breezy two-piece number that we want to wear so bad right now.
Even though it looks totally comfy and wearable, it also has snazz, which we're starting to realize is totally Delevingne's thing. She's got the lax-but-luxe look down to a science.
Like when she paired a bretton hat with a loose button down and WORKED.
And when she made this funky multi-layered coat all business.
A V-neck sweater on her? Runway ready.
There appears to be velcro on her shoes (seriously), but this sheer top and leather pants combo makes it all a cut above ordinary.
We're not even sure what to call this saggy suit except AWESOME.
Even with a flower child motif going on she's stunning.
Tennis pro and go.
Are those pajamas or a designer jumper? We don't know and, frankly, it doesn't make a difference. She's still flying high with this one.
This is how M.C. Hammer meant for it to be done, guys.
An eyeball knit cap. AN EYEBALL KNIT CAP.
Yes, that is a NASA t-shirt, and yes she's still somehow to the nines here.
Only Cara could pull off this half-dad shirt half-cocktail dress (we think?) combo thing.
And, yeah, we're gonna need this button-down hoodie jacket and striped pants ensemble right now, please and thanks.
