What Happens When You Throw A Drink To A Crowd-Walking Singer?

Our minds can't even process how awesome this video is.

Summer 'tis the season for music festivals, and music festivals are basically a gazillion degrees. I mean, when hundreds of people are packed around a stage, things are bound to get a little overheated. And there's no better way to cool off than by grabbing some ice-cold water or soda or whatever.

On Saturday night, these two things -- a crowd of screaming music lovers and the need to hyrdate -- came together to create something that at first glance looks downright impossible. During John Coffey's performance at Pinkpop Festival in the Netherlands, a fan threw an uncovered drink to David Achter de Molen, the band's lead singer.

At the time, he wasn't even on stage. Actually, to be more specific, he was walking ON TOP of the crowd. Fan held him up while he was standing inches above their heads. The drink flew through the air ... and landed perfectly in Achter de Molen's hand. A few drops of liquid splashed out in the process, sure, but this drink miraculously survived the throw without spilling.

Dutch music channel 3voor12 captured the whole thing on camera. Take a look for yourself:

It's almost too perfectly executed to be true. It's either the work of some really impressive video editing skills or -- as we want to believe -- one of the most badass music festival moments of the summer and/or EVER.
