We're still trying to piece ourselves together over Zayn Malik leaving One Direction because tell us it's not really real, 1D.

But the more time passes and the more pictures the group posts of them as a quartet, the more we're having to face the hard-fact reality that Zayn's going off to be doing his thing from now on -- you know, like dying his hair every color under the rainbow and stuff.

Meanwhile the show must go on for Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson on their On The Road Again tour.

(But we still totally reserve the right to be sad.)

Because even though they are beautiful sight, it always feels like something is missing.

And even the crowd looks a little distraught over the sight of a Zayn-less stage.

We kind of want to just photoshop him in on the left here to take the sting out a little bit because it looks EMPTY (like our hearts).

But they do still make us smile when they look adorably candid like this.

And their smiles are still picture perfect all around.

And the four of them together is still the hottest thing to ever hit a red carpet (except, you know, when there were five of them).

Plus, hey, never say never. We'd all totally have open arms for Zayn to return to if and when. Even if it's just in our dreams.
