Mumford & Sons Shut Down Bonnaroo Set With Hozier, Ed Helms, And More For Epic Beatles Cover—Watch

MANCHESTER, Tennessee — If there's one major thing we've learned from our time at Bonnaroo, it's to expect surprise appearances at, essentially, every performance you hit up. On Friday night, Kendrick Lamar and Chance The Rapper popped up at Earth, Wind & Fire's show. On Saturday afternoon, Chance joined SZA during her set. When it came to closing down Saturday night's headlining set, Mumford & Sons had to do it up big and, of course, they delivered.

To close out their two-hour set, the band brought out not one, not two, but SIX fellow Bonnaroo performers, including Hozier, My Morning Jacket, Dawes, My Morning Jacket, Danny Clinch, and Ed Helms (yep, that Ed Helms—he plays the banjo).

The massive group didn't end the set with one of Mumford & Sons' songs, instead collaborating on The Beatles' classic, "With A Little Help From My Friends."

So, yeah, one of the best parts of Bonnaroo? Never knowing who'll crop up during one of your faves' sets—it adds an exciting element to an already incredible experience. Bowing at your collaborative powers, Bonnaroo.
