Here's What You Missed At Last Night's First Ever 'Orange Is The New Black' Fan Convention
Last night didn't just mark the surprise early premiere of "Orange is The New Black" -- it was also the first ever #OrangeCon, and invitation-only event where binge-watching "OITNB" fans got the chance to meet their favorite cast members and get the full Litchfield experience. Or, at least as full an experience you can get without actually having committed a crime.
Were you stuck at home watching Netflix in your pajamas and unable to attend the convention? If so, you're not alone -- but you're definitely going to be feeling some hardcore FOMO when you find out what it was like to be there last night.
First of all, the place was packed.
And FULL of cosplayers.
As weird as it is to see people dressing up in prison uniforms, it must be a LOT comfier than your average cosplay. I speak from experience.
People took pics in a giant moving prison cell.
Real jails are just like the NSYNC "Bye Bye Bye" music video, right?
And some fans even got prison tats.
Temporary, I hope! Unless you're really into that, but IDK.
And of COURSE, there was a red carpet!
Looking good, Taylor Schilling.
Where celebs took pics with fans.
Aw, Yael Stone!
And each other, duh.
Danielle Brooks and Lea Delaria are the cutest.
Adrienne Moore looked amazing.
Samira Wiley was SO CUTE.
What nail color is that on her toes? I want it.
Kimiko Glenn looked adorable.
Vicki Jeudy and Ruby Rose were super hot.
We're gonna see more of Janae again this season, right?
Dascha Polanco rocked some fingerwaves.
While Taryn Manning is all about the ombre.
Oh man, does Lori Petty look regal as heck.
Laverne Cox was flawless.
GLOVES? I'm obsessed.
Uzo Abuda popped.
Along with Selenis Levya!
Later the cast signed autographs...
Jackie Cruz is really rocking that lipstick.
And there was a giant panel
Basically, it was the best night ever.
