Willow Smith Is Marc Jacobs’ New Muse: See Her Stunning Goth-Glam Look

The 14-year-old goes goth-glam for MJ's Fall/Winter campaign.

Just a week after Marc Jacobs announced Cher as one of the new faces of his Fall/Winter 2015 campaign, the designer has appointed another muse: the fearless Willow Smith.

Jacobs debuted the 14-year-old’s first campaign ad on Instagram, which shows her propped on a tall stool against a rich red backdrop. Her goth-meets-glam ensemble recalls Cher’s look, complete with black gloves, an embellished waist coast, and a full, pleated skirt. But the drama is definitely in the details — the outfit is brought together with edged-out accessories like dark eye makeup, chunky lace-up heels, and a long, skinny black belt that almost resembles a sword.

In the caption, Jacobs explained why he chose Smith as his new muse, calling her “talented, stylish and charming.” He further gushed, “Beauty, style and talent know no age. It is those individuals whose creativity, unique vision, and voice inspire all of us here to create and express ourselves through our medium: fashion.”

The designer also teased more sure-to-be-iconic collaborations from the upcoming collection, revealing this season’s ads will feature “friends, each of whom evoke a sense of intrigue and inspiration and collectively provoke a true consideration for individuality.”

Yep, that perfectly describes the zooty and rebellious style of Smith, whose don’t-give-a-f—k approach to fashion is nothing short of admirable. Her fearlessness is practically unparalleled for a star so young — she’s constantly experimenting with looks that most of us are too afraid to try. If that’s not the purest definition of a style icon, then who knows what is.
