Did This Teacher Ask Students To Take A Selfie With Their Parents' Sex Toys?!

Possibly the most awkward extra credit assignment ever.

If you thought dissecting a frog was the most gag-worthy assignment you could ever be asked to complete in high school, think again. A high school teacher in Alameda, California, is in hot water after parents have alleged that he offered extra credit to students who went home, found their parents' sex toys and condoms, and took selfies with them, reports San Francisco's KCBS.

We know. We can't un-think that either. And one of the students apparently did it.

Kimberly Cobene and Evangeline Garcia, both mothers of students who attend Encinal High School, say their daughters got the assignment as part of a geometry class (wut?), not even a sex ed class. Both mothers are pushing the district to fire the teacher on the grounds that, as Garcia told KCBS, "We don’t feel comfortable with our children in his presence."

Administrators at the high school, who are currently investigating the incident, suggested that the "assignment" was merely a joke, Cobene said, but at least one student gave it the old college try and showed up to class with a selfie featuring their parents' naughty toys. (And, we have to assume, a severe case of shock.)

The school district is not answering reporters' questions while the investigation is ongoing. So, no word on what lesson this alleged assignment was intended to impart. Maybe for the next round of homework, students can write an essay on the topic of "how to stop throwing up in your mouth"?
