Things got a little bit out of hand at a charity basketball game in St. Louis, Missouri, on Sunday night, when Lil Wayne clashed with the referee.

According to TMZ, Wayne's Young Money team was playing in a charity game intended to promote non-violence. They were pitted against the organizer Loose Cannon's team, but a small melee broke out, when the rapper apparently got irritated by the referee's questionable calls.

In blurry footage we can see Weezy following the ref, with members of his crew in the middle, some trying to break up the scuffle. Witnesses claimed that the YMCMB coach had also spit on the official, but we definitely don't see that in the video.

The cops were reportedly called as well, but no arrests were made.

The best part of all of this (as you can see below), is that Wayne didn't even know he was supposed to be coaching when he arrived at the game.

"I thought I was coming to watch," he told a reporter on the sidelines.
