Most nude scenes on TV and in movies don't actually require actors to strip down to nothing, but Chris Pratt took one "Parks and Recreation" skit a little further than normal.

During an appearance on "The Graham Norton Show" on Friday (May 29), Pratt recounted how he once dropped his underwear to get a more "authentic" reaction out of costar Amy Poehler.

"We were shooting a scene where my character turns up naked at my co-star's door," he said. "I was wearing skin-colored underwear and I wasn't getting quite the right reaction I was hoping for. So I decided to improvise and drop my trousers for the take. Her reaction was great and it was the take they used."

His stunt landed him in trouble with NBC executives, however. "I got a letter from NBC's HR department that said, 'There is protocol about nude scenes. This is not a joke and you are being reprimanded and you can't go around telling people about this like some kind of joke,'" Pratt continued. "I've framed the letter!"

The "Jurassic World" leading man also gave the world a hilarious sample of his best Essex accent. Apparently, when he was shooting "Guardians of the Galaxy" in England, Pratt and his wife, Anna Faris, got really into local reality TV.
