7 Times The 'Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants' Cast Were The Epitome Of #SquadGoals

The sisterhood is real, traveling pants or not.

Ten years ago today (June 1), we met four unlikely best friends -- Tibby (Amber Tamblyn), Bridget (Blake Lively), Lena (Alexis Bledel) and Carmen (America Ferrera) -- as they embarked on the most life-changing summer of their adolescent lives in "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants."

The film, based on the coming-of-age book by Ann Brashares, inspired us to find our tribe (and a magical pair of jeans), but perhaps the greatest gift "Sisterhood" gave to us was the decade-long friendship of its cast.

The fierce foursome have remained best friends since the 2005 flick, a fact Tamblyn marveled at when she reunited with her costars for an October 2013 photoshoot for Entertainment Weekly. "I think it's the wildest thing I have ever come across in my 20 years of acting," she told the publication about the actress' friendship. "There's not a damn thing false about it."

"We've been a part of each other's lives in really meaningful ways that go beyond making a movie together," Ferrera added. "We almost forget that we made a movie together because our friendship was created from so many other experiences. The fact that our friendship started in this beautiful film that was so meaningful to all of us and to our lives and our careers and to our friendship, we are always so grateful for it."

In case you don't believe their friendship has transcended the big screen, take a look at some of their most important friendship moments.

They attended each other's weddings.

A true testament to their eternal sisterhood, they've seen each other walk down the aisle. When Lively got married to Ryan Reynolds in 2012, Bledel, Tamblyn and Ferrera were in attendance. They squad also reunited for Ferrera's marriage to Ryan Piers Williams and Tamblyn and David Cross' wedding. Adding to the awww factor, Ferrera even spoke at Tamblyn’s wedding -- and Lively helped her pick out her beautiful yellow wedding dress. Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser's 2014 nuptials were a "small" and private affair, but we wouldn't be surprised if her girls were on the intimate guest list.

In what we hope will become the plot of "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 3," Tamblyn, Lively, Bledel and Ferrera all jetted off to New Orleans in 2013 to throw their sister from another mister a surprise bachelorette party. Lively apparently talked Tamblyn into coming to her house, where Tamblyn found herself ambushed and taken to the airport for a fun bachelorette vacay.

"She blindfolded me and I felt all of these hands pulling me out of the car," Tamblyn told EW. "I'm like, 'OK, I'm going to be beheaded...' And it was America and Alexis. They had all surprised me and put this whole trip together to New Orleans."

OMG stoooop being so cute, guys.

They go on double dates.

According to Tamblyn, her and Ferrera go on double dates "all the time -- to an irritating point" with their hubbies.

"Usually America and I going out first, eating and catching up and talking about extensionalism and philosophy, and where we are in our lives," Tamblyn told Us Weekly. "And that usually lasts about 2 hours. And then the dudes join up and they have been and then we talk about sports for 10 minutes. And then America and I go back to being in love with each other. They go off and do their own thing."

True love never dies.

They campaign together.

Tamblyn and Ferrera hit the campaign trail together in 2008 to stump for presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton. There's always room for one more in the sisterhood!

They're all "godmothers" to Lively's daughter James.

Okay, so technically speaking, they're not the actual godmothers of Lively's newborn daughter James, but ~spiritually~ speaking, they are very much apart of baby Ryan's life. "They're my dear friends," Lively told E! "I would say my baby has a lot of fairy godmothers."

They support each other's careers.

"The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" celebrated female friendship, which is why it makes us so happy to see the cast support each other's career aspirations. They're each other's biggest champions, and that's pretty cool.

When Ferrera graced the Broadway stage in "Lips Together, Teeth Apart" last year, she got extra support from the sisterhood, who all showed up to cheer on their friend. And when Lively launched her lifestyle website Preserve, Tamblyn was one of the first writers to be featured on the sire. Tamblyn's writer bio on Preserve even reads, "She can also be seen sleeping over at Blake’s house and getting royally irritated at being woken up at 7am to try a batch of cupcakes Blake just made." You know, just in case you doubted their BFF status.

They go to brunch together.

Because there's nothing a mimosa and a piece of french toast can't fix. We've never wanted to be a fly on a wall more than in this moment, tbh.

Happy 10-year friendship-versary, guys! Here's to many more decades of sisterhood.
