Juicy J Returns To The Stage After Getting Rushed To The Hospital

The rapper has continued his tour just two days after being treated for exhaustion.

On Saturday (May 23) Juicy J tweeted out news of a health scare that prompted him to cancel his concert in San Francisco that night.

The Memphis rapper was taken to Saint Frances Memorial Hospital, where he updated fans on his condition, explaining he wasn’t getting enough rest.

Juice continued posting progress reports throughout the weekend, saying “the show must go on” and assuring his San Francisco fans that he’d make it up to them.

Ever the trooper, J’s clearly taking the name of his tour (“The Hustle Continues”) to heart — he returned to the stage in Boise, Idaho, on Sunday night, where things appeared to run smoothly.

The day before his hospital visit, the "Low" rapper performed in Los Angeles with a broken ankle, where he confirmed a Three 6 Mafia reunion is on the way. According to The Boombox, he told the crowd, “I been thinking about a reunion. Matter of fact I am going to do it. If you are hearing rumors Juicy J is going to retire, not without a Three 6 reunion... that’s coming soon.”

Hopefully J continues to keep his health in check, because he definitely has his plate full — along with that (hopefully soon-to-come!) reunion, his current tour runs through the end of June, and his upcoming album THC: The Hustle Continues is slated for release in July.
