You've seen "Project Almanac," the time-bending found footage film that examines how the choices we make affect the rest of our lives. If a butterfly in China flaps its wings, or if a kid in the 'burbs discovers his father's super-secret plans for a time machine, everything can change forever.

As it turns out, even the beginnings of feature films can change. MTV News is exclusively debuting an alternate opening scene for "Project Almanac," which you can own on Digital HD beginning tomorrow, May 26.

Watch as David (Jonny Weston) gets pranked by his friends and gets a very important piece of mail in this alternate beginning.
