GULF SHORES, Alabama -- When hundreds of fans gathered on the beach at Hangout Music Festival to watch Tove Lo's performance on Sunday, May 17, they probs weren't expecting to see a little somethin' somethin'. Or at least, they weren't expecting to see it from Tove Lo herself. They were wrong.

It was a bold move, and the "Talking Body" singer encouraged her audience to follow suit. Many dudes took off their shirts and swung them over their head, but boobs and bodies weren't the only memorable parts of her Hangout performance. The crowd went wild for her hit single "Habits (Stay High)" off her debut album, Queen of the Clouds, which dropped last September. She also played "Like Em Young," "Moments," "This Time Around," "Thousand Miles," and more off the record.

MTV News caught up with Tove Lo before her performance to talk about her next album. She opened up and talked about how it would still be "personal and emotional" like her previous one. "That's who I am," she says in the interview below.

She also revealed that the new album will have some different beats than in her previous work.

"I'm experimenting a little bit ... You're going to get a lot of me, but it's going to be some new influences coming in musically, so that's exciting," she said.
