If you haven't been keeping a close eye on Kesha recently, you may have missed that she's traded in glitter and face paint for a simpler—and less messy, TBH—beauty approach. The singer recently sat down with Vogue and discussed all things beauty, including the impetus behind the major aesthetic change, saying, "I wanted to be more confident in myself—embrace every inch of my body—not try to cover up with makeup."

The singer actually reveals one of the more, um, unusual ways she used to—literally—cover her body with glitter. She says, "And before I went on stage I used to pour beer on my body [as an adhesive] then roll in a bathtub full of glitter. I don’t do that anymore because it irritated my skin." So, like, was the bathtub always full of glitter? Was it ever used for non-glitter bathing? How hard is that to clean up? This method raises a lot of questions and we need answers.

She also mentions that, yes, her gold tooth is gone (RIP). When asked if she has any beauty regrets, she says, "Do you mean the gold tooth I had removed? [Laughs] No, I look back lovingly because I was having so much fun [with hair and makeup]." Kesha, may I suggest that in your downtime you should start teaching a class on how to have the best attitude towards everything in the whole world? I'd enroll AND sit in the front row.
