We’re all excited to see Kendrick Lamar star in Taylor Swift’s "Bad Blood” video. On Monday (May 11), Taylor announced that K. Dot would be playing Welvin Da Great in the highly anticipated, star-studded clip, which will also feature Ellie Goulding, Lena Dunham, Zendaya, Hayley Williams and Gigi Hadid.

But who is Welvin Da Great? Well, the name sounds an awful lot like viral sensation Welven Da Great and sure enough, K. Dot confirmed his character was inspired by Welven with a tweet he made yesterday.
