College Student Arrested For Allegedly Poisoning Her Roommates' Food

Yikes.

Turns out your roomie's months-old leftovers are definitely not the grossest thing that could possibly be found in a fridge. University of South Carolina student Haley King, 22, has been charged with a felony after allegedly pouring Windex and spitting in in her roommates' food, ABC News reported Monday (May 4).

King's roommates reportedly made several unsuccessful attempts to get King to move out before all this happened. This resulted in multiple altercations that were severe enough for the roommates to monitor King's behavior via video surveillance.

What may seem like paranoid behavior to some proved to be a wise and possibly life-saving decision when the roommates allegedly discovered footage of King spitting into their food and poisoning it with Windex. One roommate reported that they learned of the contamination after they had already consumed some of King's dangerous conconction

Once the roommates made the stomach-churning video discovery, they turned the footage over to police. King was taken into custody and questioned. According to an incident report, she ultimately confessed to the insane deed. (View cringe-inducing footage of the alleged episode below.)

King was charged with unlawful, malicious tampering with human drug product or food, which is a felony crime that carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison. She is currently out on $5,000 bail. Hopefully, she had enough money left after posting bail to look for her own apartment. Something tells us it will be tough to find someone to shack up with after this.
