These Adorable First Photos Of The Royal Princess Will Make You Want To Pinch Your Computer Screen
In a superhuman show of strength, Kate Middleton not only gave birth to a new royal princess yesterday morning (May 2), but – just hours later – she appeared looking #FLAWLESS before reporters alongside hubs Prince William to introduce their new bundle of joy, before heading home with the as-yet-unnamed baby. That's right, no overnight hospital stay for the Duchess of Cambridge. What exactly do they put in the water at Kensington Palace? We want some.
But we digress – baby girl totally rocked her very first photo shoot. She's already proving a formidable force of cuteness alongside big bro Prince George, who basically wrote the book on adorably mugging for the cameras.
Exhibit A: George joins dad to wave at photographers before meeting his sis for the first time.
Exhibit B: The royal princess chillin' while she greets a wall of photographers like it's NBD.
Seriously, she's already a pro at this whole "royal" thing.
Clearly she's learning from the best (guys, Kate gave birth 10 hours before this photo was taken HOW DOES SHE LOOK SO AMAZING SERIOUSLY HOW WE CAN'T EVEN).
Obviously the British are totally elated to welcome the first princess born into the monarchy in 25 years – but even the POTUS got in on the action from across the pond, releasing a statement of congratulations.
"Michelle and I are delighted to congratulate the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, her Majesty the Queen and the Royal Family, and all the people of the United Kingdom on the birth of the Royal Princess," said Barack Obama.
And of course, when you're a newborn princess, your welcome to the world isn't complete without a show of celebration from an entire city. Pretty much every major landmark in the UK was lit pink last night to mark baby girl's arrival.
