So, THAT'S How They're Writing Off Nina Dobrev On 'The Vampire Diaries'

It's the beginning of the end for Delena. SOB.

So that's how they're going to write off Nina Dobrev?

In the most recent episode of "The Vampire Diaries," Elena took the cure, sealing her fate as a human. But that decision came at a heavy price as every good memory of Damon that she had erased came flooding back to her -- their first date, their first kiss, their first dance... and that one time in Nova Scotia when Damon told her there was nothing more "miserable on Earth" than being human.

So it's pretty apparent that Elena is going to talk Damon out of taking the cure because, being Elena, she doesn't want Damon to resent her for him becoming human. Oh, human Elena, how we've missed you and all of your immense empathy.

That being said, we have some major questions about the episode and where "TVD" is headed in its final episodes. Is the end really nigh for Delena?

  1. Will Damon take the cure?

We're pretty sure we know the answer to this one: no. Elena isn't going to let Damon take the cure because she knows that he would do anything for her, even if it meant sacrificing his own happiness. Plus, Ian Somerhalder has officially signed on for season seven, so he'll be sticking around town for a little while longer.

  2. Will Elena leave Mystic Falls with Alaric, Jo and the baby?

With Kai and his witchpire goons headed back to the real world from their prison in 1903, Alaric and Jo need to go on the lam, and they need to do it soon. But the big question is will Elena go with them? Elena has had everything taken from her at one point or another -- her humanity, her family, her agency -- so it would make sense that she'd want to leave Mystic Falls with Ric. He's the only family she has left, and with a baby on the way, they have a chance to start fresh in someplace new -- as a family. Wouldn't that be nice?

  3. What will happen to Lily Salvatore?

Don't get us wrong, Lily Salvatore is kind of the worst. (What is it with moms who hate their children?) But we think there might be some kind of hope for Damon and Stefan's mom yet. After all, they chose not to kill her. Instead, they locked her up in their basement, despite the fact she snapped Damon's neck and nearly staked Stefan. Oh, and she nearly killed both Elena and Jo, who is pregnant with twins. So, yeah, Lily isn't winning mother of the year anytime soon. But she did show some sort of compassion towards Jo when she didn't kill her and her unborn twins. Maybe there's still some maternal instinct left inside Lily? Or, maybe Damon and Stefan will just kill her. We're definitely intrigued to see how this plays out.
