Jay Z's 40/40 Club Will Host A Brand New Talk Show
That’s right. Hov’s Manhattan 40/40 Club will go from bar to talk show set for a show called “40/40 Live.”
Time Inc. revealed plans for the program on Thursday (April 30) during its NewFronts showcase announcement for original video content.
The show will be hosted by WNBA point guard Skylar Diggins, who is also signed to the Magna Carta Holy Grail rapper’s Roc Nation Sports.
“'40/40 Live' is filmed at Jay Z’s The 40/40 Club offering fresh, unfiltered conversation with personalities in sports, fame, music and more,” reads the statement. “With the energy of this luxury sports bar as a backdrop and the rising talent of Skylar and her celebrity guests, '40/40 Live' promises to be edgy, unpredictable and compelling.”
The show will be produced in collaboration with Jay’s Life + Times and will blend the worlds of hip hop and sports celebrity.
