What started out as a fun experiment with lip liner has now become a Twitter meme under the hashtag #KylieLipChallenge. Over the past week, several teens who tried to get lips like Kylie's through more, uh, creative measures than makeup or CandyLipz posted the downside of the challenge. One teen's attempt left damage that lasted for at least a few days, while another was less than happy with the result of using a Gatorade bottle as lip plumper.

Kylie, who's presumably been watching the Lip Challenge from a distance, finally broke her silence about the trend last night. The 17-year-old dropped some wise words on Twitter.

So, yeah, go wild! Experiment with your look all you want! Try ~unusual~ makeup! Change your hair color on the reg! But maybe think twice before you shove your lips into a bottle? K cool, thanks!
