Zayn Malik Takes To Twitter To Thank Supporters: 'You Know Who You Are'

After leaving One Direction, the former boy bander is speaking out.

Zayn Malik is flooding his supporters with love. Days after he thanked his fans in Japan, the former One Direction singer took to Twitter to show his appreciation for the people who have understood his move to leave the boy band.

"Wanna say thanks to everyone that's been there for me over the last few weeks, love you all.. you know who you are x," he wrote on Twitter.

In March, One Direction announced that Zayn was officially leaving the band after photos of him and a girl who was not his fiance Perrie Edwards surfaced online. He cited "stress" for departure.

At the Asian Awards in London on April 17, Zayn had thanked his ex-bandmates for the memories. Louis, Niall, Harry and Liam are currently touring as a foursome.

“I’d also like to take this moment to thank four of the best guys I’ve ever met whilst being in a band and doing all the amazing things that I did," he said. "The things that we did will stay with me for the rest of my life and I thank you for that... Here’s to the future.”
