Ciara Crashes Coachella To Debut A New Song
The anticipation for Ciara's latest album, Jackie, continues to grow. Thankfully, CiCi gave fans something to talk about during the second weekend of Coachella when she made a surprise appearance during Dutch producer and DJ R3hab's set.
R3hab performed a remix of Ciara's all-fire and deeply painful new jam, "I Bet," from Jackie. In the remix, R3hab elevates the track from a quiet, lovely pop-r&b slow jam to a bright house tune.
Earlier last week, Ciara released a number of remixes of the first single, including one by T.I. Another remix, slated for the deluxe version of Jackie, will include Joe Jonas.
The two debuted a new song, rumored to be titled "Get Up," from R3hab's new album.
The track sounds like a '90s dance throwback, a surprising yet stellar direction for Ciara. Although we love Ciara's slow burners, her soft vocals also work well with fun dance tracks, too. Dr. Luke – best known for his dance-pop work with Kesha and Katy Perry – is a confirmed producer for Jackie. "Dance Like We're Making Love," a confirmed track on Jackie, is rumored to be the work of Dr. Luke. The dance-oriented direction for Ciara then might not be a fluke.
