Lupe Fiasco's 'Adoration' Video Is Set In A Strip Club, But It Has A Message

Not your average rap video.

Even if you're not a huge fan of Lupe Fiasco, you have to admit that he's still making some incredibly thoughtful and layered music. And his music videos aren't lacking depth, either.

On Tuesday (Apr. 14), the Chicago rapper released visuals for "Adoration Of The Magi," from Tetsuo & Youth -- and they might stun you, momentarily.

The NSFW video is set in a strip club, but I promise that it's not the kind of experience you're thinking. You'll realize that when director Alex Nazari captures a nun walking into the strip club, and the bartender is (understandly) completely stunned.

Then, as we watch a stripper work the pole slowly, it's the audience that actually demands attention here. In addition to the nun, you can also spot a priest, a student wearing her graduation gown, a girl who couldn't be more than 10 years old, and others that you'd never usually see in such an establishment.

Things get even stranger when they begin reaching out to the stripper, attempting to hand her diapers, and we eventually realize that it's because she's pregnant.

Some of the inspiration from this seems to be pulled directly from the song, where Lupe references a stripper who doesn't know that she's pregnant. "Who got a baby in here with these strippers?/ She's two weeks pregnant," he raps. "Didn't even know, he's dancing with her, damn."
