Just when we thought we were at the acceptance stage of our grief, Nina Dobrev has gone and staked our hearts all over again. Not cool, Dobrev.

The "Vampire Diaries" star, who announced she was leaving the series at the end of season six, is currently filming her very last episode... ever. And her latest Insta has us in serious need of a pick-me-up.

"Just finished filming my last Stefan and Elena scene with the amazing [Paul Wesley]," she captioned the photo of her and her "TVD" co-star. "Crazy. So many emotions. I'm lost for words."

You're lost for words, Nina? We can barely breathe! Okay, so maybe that's a little dramatic, but this is heartbreaking. This is the very last Stelena scene on "The Vampire Diaries." Let that sink in for a moment.

We might not have shipped Stelena very much in recent seasons, but there's no denying that their romance essentially started it all. Damon may be Elena's true love, but Stefan was Elena's first love -- and you never forget your first love. Stefan and Elena's friendship has grown into something truly special, and this scene will undoubtedly break our hearts into tiny, pathetic pieces. Even Paul Wesley agrees with us:

With only two more days on set until it's a series wrap for Dobrev, these next few hours will be filled with farewells -- and tears.

"Officially a mess," she captioned this Insta of her and co-stars Candice Accola and Kat Graham. "No hiding it anymore. Today has been a day filled with farewells.. it's officially a wrap on Caroline&Elena&Bonnie."

"Finished filming with these two beautiful, funny, sweet, sassy, amazingly talented and lovely ladies.... @candiceaccola @katgrahampics," she added. "Love you with all my heart and soul forever and always."

Is it just us, or does Elena look surprisingly like her old, human self in these photos? Speculation aside, whatever happens to Elena Gilbert, we know Dobrev will still always have a home in Mystic Falls.
