Ed Sheeran’s ‘Sesame Street’ Song Is Finally Here And It’s Adorable AF

Let Ed and his cute, furry backing band tell you how to keep your behavior under control.

Diehard Sheerios may remember that, all the way back in October 2013, Ed Sheeran filmed an appearance on “Sesame Street.” At the time, we didn’t know much about his episode, except for these Instagram snapshots that teased an adorable-looking jam session.

Finally, a year and a half later, “Sesame Street” has released Ed’s clip for all of us to swoon and “aww” over and warm even the iciest hearts. Accompanied by his fantastically furry backing band — which includes “Sesame Street” faves like Elmo, Grover, and Cookie Monster — Ed sings a catchy little tune called “Two Different Worlds.”

The song basically advocates the importance of behavior modification, with lyrics talking about the difference between how you’re supposed to act at school and at home. “At home I can speak whenever I please/I can talk real loud and shoot the breeze/At school I raise my hand in the air when there’s something that I want to share,” Ed sings with his signature goofy grin.

In a nutshell, the song says you’re free to act as crazy as you want at home (which is a message that I’m sure parents just loooove), but at school, you have to be a self-controlled, rule-abiding citizen. It may sound like deep stuff for a kid’s song, but Ed and his pals naturally make it adorable AF.
