Ever the proper British gentleman, 'The Divergent Series: Insurgent' star Theo James still has a difficult time talking about the now infamous 'trousers incident' that both he and co-star Shailene Woodley awkwardly giggled over during their recent Youtube livestream event.

MTV News recently got him to push through his discomfort and finally spill the beans to us, and surprise! It happened during their sex scene, because of course it did. You're going to want to see this, if only for the endearingly awkward look on James' face when he explains what really went down.

Neither Woodley nor James needed to remove their pants while filming that steamy moment from the trailer where Four and Tris finally get it on. "But in retrospect we probably should have," James told MTV News. "You're supposed to be having sex but you've both got really tight, black, uncomfortable pants on!"
