An Actual Pirate Just Tried To Invade The New 'Pirates Of The Caribbean' Movie

And he has a parrot.

Over the course of his lengthy career as a crusader of the Caribbean seas, Captain Jack Sparrow has earned his fair share of enemies — but he may have just met his match.

Move over Barbossa, and step aside Davy Jones, because Captain Jack's strangest nemesis has stepped into the ring: An actual pirate who just invaded the set of "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales." At least, a man who is actually dressed as a pirate, according to reports that a man confronted security staff on the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie with a knife, while dressed to the nines in pirate garb.

"An image released by police show the man with swashbuckling long dreadlocks, heavy eye makeup and a parrot perched on his shoulder — it is unclear whether it is a prop, or alive — bearing a striking resemblance to Captain Jack Sparrow," reports 9 News.

Police are currently looking for the suspect who may or may not be an actual pirate, with what may or may not be an actual parrot perched on his shoulder, and what certainly sounds like an actual knife at his disposal. He's not a zombie pirate, nor is he an ancient ocean-dwelling monster, but that doesn't make this guy any less frightening. Here's hoping the "Pirates" crew remains safe while the hunt is on for this self-modeled Sparrow.

The new "Pirates of the Caribbean" once again stars Johnny Depp as Jack, with new cast members including Javier Bardem, Kaya Scodelario and Brenton Thwaites. It's directed by Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg, and is due in theaters on July 7, 2017.
