Kanye West Signed A Chicago Rapper To G.O.O.D. Music

Welcome aboard, Hollywood Holt.

Kanye West may be super focused on his own endeavors these days -- from his upcoming new album, So Help Me God, to his recently-released adidas sneakers -- but that doesn't mean he doesn't have time for the team, too.

On Wednesday (Mar. 4), it was announced that Yeezy has signed fellow Chicago native Hollywood Holt to G.O.O.D. Music. Holt revealed the news in the caption of an Instagram video.

"I'm excited to announce this morning that I just signed to #GOODmusic and my music is FINALLY coming out!! Be on the look out for new music!!!!! #HOLT2015 #GOODmusic #RT," he wrote.

Holt, who is a member of Chicago's Treated Crew, performed at G.O.O.D. Music's SXSW showcase in 2014, which sparked rumors that he was affiliated with the crew.

'Ye also expanded the label in December, when he signed Kacy Hill.

Holt may have some exotic recording sessions ahead of him, too. Just last week, Big Sean told MTV News about Kanye flying the team out to Mexico to hit the studio.
