Tori Kelly Starts An Epic Dance Party In 'Nobody Love' Video: Watch

The singer-songwriter's first single from her upcoming debut album is a bonafide club banger.

After winning our hearts as an esteemed member of MTV’s Artist to Watch class of 2014, Tori Kelly is slated to release her highly anticipated debut full-length album this spring. And the 22-year-old singer-songwriter is giving us a taste of what to expect with with the video for lead single “Nobody Love.”

The irresistible track lets Tori’s booming vocals shine against a throwback sound before transitioning into a laid-back clubby vibe, complete with an infectious snap-filled beat. It basically sounds like if you took Ariana Grande’s insane vocal range, Meghan Trainor’s spunk, and Christina Aguilera’s old-school charm and blended it all together.

In the fun video, Tori and her squad take over a New York City diner and get everyone to join their dance party, from the fry cook to an NYPD cop to the homeless men on the sidewalk. With her signature bouncy curls (srsly, DAT HAIR is everything) and her Mariah Carey-sized high note during the song’s bridge, Tori turns “Nobody Love” is a bonafide club banger.

“Nobody Love” makes it clear that Tori’s come a long way since her acoustic bedroom covers. The California native first broke out with a string of viral YouTube videos in 2012 and has since opened for Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran. After releasing a couple acoustic-driven EPs, she’s teamed up with Swedish hit maker Max Martin for her as-yet untitled debut album.
