Remember When Emma Stone Slayed Her Very First Oscars Red Carpet?

Happy Oscars day! In just a few hours, another awards season will come to a close with the biggest, most glamorous red carpet of them all. One of the brightest stars set to grace the awards is Emma Stone, who is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in "Birdman." While we don't know (yet) what she'll turn up wearing, we can be sure that it'll be flawless because even at her very first time at the Academy Awards, she straight-up slayed the carpet.

Attending with the cast of "The Help," Emma arrived at the 2012 awards daring to match the carpet in head-to-toe bright red. The halter gown by Giambattista Valli was classic but daring all at the same time with a simple floor-length cut plus a dramatic neck bow. Even three years later, it's hard to believe this was her first time at the Oscars.

The devil, as they say, is in the details, and Emma spared none. Even her chignon, which looked fairly standard from the front, was interwoven and v complex. I honestly can't make heads or tails of how someone could make hair look like this, but I've been doing my hair the same way since 8th grade, so don't listen to me.

Also, hi. This beauty look is slammin'. Again, the perfect mix of classic pushed a little farther to the edge, the tried-and-true cat eye liner is striking because of the unexpected pink shadow and how far out the wing stretches, the skinny width keeps it subtle and formal.

P.S. She tore it up in her after party ensemble, too.

What will she wear this year? We'll have to wait and see!
