8 'E For Everyone' Video Games That Are Totally Addicting For Adults

These games may be child's play, but they're still crazy fun if you're a grownup.

Last weekend, I took a trip to visit my nephews for a little bonding time. I suggested to them that we do something outside, but they halfheartedly invited me to join in their game of "Mario Kart 8," thinking it would be an easy way to show me who's boss in the house.

To their surprise, not only did I lay waste to them in "MK8," but I proceeded to dominate a bunch of other titles they shoved into their console. Here are games made for kids that an adult can have just as much fun playing ... especially if you don't let them win.

"Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes"

Disney

Disney-Infinity-lineup

"Disney Infinity 2.0” lets you play inside the world of the Avengers and X-Men, as well as toy box characters from Disney. Your lifetime experience of playing other Marvel titles can make any kid wish they didn't invite you to sit and play online with them.

"Mario Kart 8”

Nintendo

Nintendo is the king of making video games designed with kids in mind, but which somehow get mastered by people of all ages. Try peeling the controller from the hand of a kid playing this game, and you might have a tough time making it out of the room without a scratch.

"Little Big Planet"

SCEA

The cute little SackBoy character in this PlayStation game will take you on some far-out adventures. You may think it's just for kids at first, but a dozen hours later -- when you can't feel your legs from sitting on your couch for so long -- you will realize that this assumption is wildly incorrect.

"LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham"

Warner Bros.

LEGO sets might be designed for kids, but LEGO video games are designed for kids of all ages. Seriously, can anyone wait for the "LEGO Batman Movie” to come out?!

"Disco Bees"

Scopely

"Disco Bees" might have a funny name, but there's nothing funny about how tough it is to put your phone down while trying to beat this title. Players compete in challenges to clear brightly colored bugs from a honeycomb board in exchange for points and level-ups. This title makes even the coolest of kids (and adults) a bit angry when they lose.

"Just Dance 2015”

Ubisoft

Kids may have more energy than you do, but you have more practice in nightclubs (one would hope). Use this advantage to show 'em who's boss when it comes to digital dance moves.

"Kirby and the Rainbow Curse"

Nintendo

In his latest title, players of ALL ages can guide Kirby on some grand adventures in a hand-sculpted clay world. As an adult who isn't ashamed to play Kirby games, I for one am very much about this.

"Rabbids Invasion: The Interactive TV Show"

Ubisoft

Don't be fooled by the cute little bunny-looking characters. You'll need all of your senses for this game, which is fun to play with your nephews (or younger siblings), but even more fun to play when nobody is around to judge you.
