It Would’ve Been Weird If Beyonce 'Didn’t' Win For ‘Drunk In Love’ At The Grammys

But we missed Blue.

An awards show is no awards show at all, if Beyoncé isn’t making multiple appearances over the course of the night.

Ahead of her “Selma” performance at the 2015 Grammy Awards, Queen Bey also picked up an award for Best R&B Performance with “Drunk in Love," featuring husband Jay Z.

The song was released in late 2013 on her self-titled album, but it truly dominated 2014, inspiring plenty of memes and even “Surfboat” clothing. Not to mention that Bey and Jay performed a sexy duet of song at the Grammys last year.

Bey gave her husband Jay Z a big hug before walking onto the stage for a brief thank you speech.

“This is such an honor. This has been such an incredible year,” she told the audience, beaming in her sheer peplum dress. “I’d like to thank my beloved husband -- I love you deep.”

“My daughter who’s watching, Blue,” she continued. “And I’d like to say thank you to my Bey Hive. Thank you, guys, for riding so hard.”

Bey beat out a few notable contenders for the award. She was up against Usher with “Good Kisser,” Chris Brown with “New Flame,” Ledisi for “Like This” and Jennifer Hudson with “It’s Your World.”
