Olivia Pope Escaped Her Kidnappers So She Could Shop The Limited's New 'Scandal' Collection

Dust off your white hats, Scandal fans, because the second installment of The Limited's Olivia Pope-inspired clothing line is nearly here. Even though the collection isn't set to arrive in stores until February 13, a handful of lucky gladiators got the ultimate shopping experience when they were not only allowed to preshop the line at the Glendale Galleria in California earlier than the rest of us lowly peasants, but they got a chance to meet none other than the HBIC of "Scandal" herself, Kerry Washington.

In a nod to her character's monochromatic style, Kerry hit up the event in a black and white polka-dotted Dolce & Gabanna dress, and an adorable mini buckle clutch from Roger Vivier (which I need to find and own even more than Olivia Pope needs to break out of her fake Middle Eastern jail cell).

While most eyes were on Kerry (as well as Jessica Alba and Rachel Zoe, who stopped by to peep the collection), there was no way anyone missed the super chic new ~lewks~ that The Limited had on display. Trust me guys—deciding which of these clothes to buy is going to be harder than choosing between Jake and Fitz. :(

In keeping with Olivia Pope's color palette of soft grays and creams, the line features plenty of sophisticated silhouettes to make you feel like a classy lady while you sip red wine and shovel popcorn into your mouth every #ShondaThursday. I mean, that Rib Merino Blend Cardigan ($90) is practically made for some elegant couch surfing.

The more I look at these new clothes, like that Blur Check Cropped Jacket ($168) or the Gladiator Wide Leg Trouser ($98), the more I think, "What Would Olivia Do?"

She'd buy them all immediately. Sorry, wallet—it has to be done.
