Scottish reggae-rocker Finley Quaye abruptly abandoned his U.S. tour

opening for Ben Harper on Friday when guitarist Chris

Campbell quit Quaye's band following a performance at New York's

Roseland Ballroom. "It was a surprise for us -- they apparently had some

sort of disagreement," said Brian Stevenson, publicist with Sony's 550

Music label, which released Quaye's Maverick With A Strike album.

Quaye is expected to return to the States in late May or early June.
